Riverside B&B Prices and Terms and Conditions
We are non-smoking throughout the B&B.
Please note that we operate a minimum 2 night policy at weekends and during the week from February through to the end of November. Occasionally when bookings allow we open bookings to accommodate 1 night stays.
As many guests come for some peace and quiet, and because we can only accept 2 guests per room, we only take guests over the age of 10.
If you are looking for a family friendly B&B then we recommend Brathay Lodge.
A deposit equal to £100 per booked room is required to guarantee a reservation. Fourteen day notice of cancellation is required for any refund. Please note we’re a small business and rely mostly on forward bookings, so cancellations can have a significant impact on us. If a cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival the deposit will not be refunded and the remaining cost of the room will be charged at the time of cancellation. Terms for online booking agents are 30 days prior to arrival. Please note that a reservation is a legally binding contract and we do urge you to take out travel insurance at the time of booking. All cancellations must be sent in writing by either email or letter.
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons
beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
How To Pay Your Deposit and Balance
We are happy to accept Debit Card, Visa, Mastercard or electronic transfer of funds for payment of the deposit and the balance. Where possible we prefer payment by debit card.
We do not take American Express.

Check In and Departure Times
Check in is usually between 16.30 & 19.30 and we ask that guests vacate their rooms by 11:00 on day of departure.
If you will be arriving after 19.30 please let us know as we occasionally have commitments in the evenings and want to ensure someone is here to welcome you to the B&B.
Damage and Breakages
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage that is caused while you occupy the room including any accidents that may occur. If any damage is caused you are responsible up to the full cost of replacement or repair (this applies to the whole property). The costs will be taken from the credit card used to secure the booking or pay for the stay.
