Our Luxury Four Poster en-suite room with shower/bath sleeps 2 people. It is an ideal room to relax in.
Light and spacious double aspect four poster room with a hand made king size bed that overlooks the River Rothay and our gardens; there is a comfortable sitting area to unwind and sit in after a good day out in the Fells with a bottle of wine! You may even catch a glimpse of Clint our resident heron or of our otters, Geraldine and Josephine. We do have a licence with a small selection of beer and wines. We stock the ones we are happy to drink ourselves! There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room should you prefer that instead.
A dressing gown and slippers are provided and there is a bluetooth speaker to connect to if you want to listen to some of your own music. You will also find a hair dryer and fan in the room.
Please note we have refurbished the bathroom and had to say goodbye to the 1980’s spa bath! For those of you who have booked via booking.com from Holland please note that their Dutch website still has the spa bath as a feature despite numerous requests to remove it.

We cannot praise the Riverside enough. This is a truly charming place in a wonderful peaceful location. The comfort offered is matched by the truly amazing freshly cooked breakfasts! Nothing is too much trouble for the very friendly hosts Richard and Diney. Will certainly return.

The B&B is the perfect balance of traditional style but with a clean and modern feel. Breakfast was amazing with lovely little touches like the homemade bread and this morning there were blueberry pancakes! Diney’s Homemade cakes were also a highlight - we have just eaten today’s chocolate and almond cake whilst in traffic on the way home. Also need to give a special mention to Richard for his recommended walking routes
