Room 1

Is on the first floor with a lovely view of the garden from which wild deer can sometimes be spotted grazing in our flower-beds.

It has a very comfortable super-king size bed or an equally comfortable twin bed option. There is a seating area with a large choice of Farrer’s teas and coffee bags, delicious biscuits and a complimentary ½ bottle of red wine.Slippers, a hair dryer and a fan are also provided.

The en-suite bathroom has a bath and a powerful over bath shower, complimentary toiletries and bath bombs for you to have a relaxing soak and unwind.

Room 5

Is on the second floor. It has a very comfortable super-king size bed or an equally comfortable twin bed option. The complimentary toiletries are supplied by our friends at Pure Lakes based nearby in Staveley. Farrer’s teas and coffee bags as well as a complimentary ½ bottle of red wine are also included. Slippers, a hair dryer and fan are also included for your comfort. The window seat provides views of the garden and a glimpse of the river.

There is a wet room shower and an additional basin area. The wet room has a sloping roof which may mean ducking slightly when showering if you are tall.

Rossett Pike – Walk at the end of the Langdale Valley

Wansfell gives wonderful views of the whole of Windermere and its surrounding fells. It is around 5-6 miles and takes in around 1800 ft of ascent. The walk is a little steep in places and the actual summit of Wansfell is just short of 1600 ft.
