Sourdough At Riverside
Sourdough is naturally leavened bread and has been around at least as early as ancient Egypt. Like all good things it was probably discovered by accident when bread dough was left out and it combined with good micro-organism. Instead of using commercial yeast it is made using a starter which is fermented flour and water mixture that contains wild yeast and good bacteria to rise. There are no additives!
The first thing you need to do is make the starter which takes 5 days and then the rest is simple.
